This article got me thinking. Go read it!
My life’s currently “on script” - to a degree that my 10 year younger self would feel disdain for it. Strangely I found happiness here. My unusual choices, the ones I thoroughly enjoy and pride myself on tend to be small ones - barely dipping a toe over “the usual”. I do believe that my life would be less “on script” if I didn’t have the luck of - my any measure - stable and comfortable surroundings. I’d love to live out different scripts and see where they take me. Going “off script” can sound enticing and might get people to grow past the(ir) usual local maxima.
Respect to anyone who lives “off script”. Anyone should live how they want, as long as they don’t harm others.
